Garbage pickup is every Wednesday morning about 8 am.  Recycling bin is across town by GB Feed Store, we encourage every home to recycle whenever possible, as our rates are based on tonnage.

We bill monthly for water, sewer and garbage.  The fee is based on number of occupants in the home.  Contact the city to get your water/sewer/garbage service switched over to you.  Payments are due the last day of the month for that month.  Cut the coupons apart and send the current month’s slip with your payment each month. You can send your payment to the City of Bellechester, 299 Great Western Ave Bellechester MN 55027, or drop it off at the First Farm's and Merchant Bank in Bellechester in an envelope with the City of Bellechester written on it.  You can also have it automatically paid by filling out and returning an ACH form that is available on this site.

The current rate for water/sewer/garbage is:

1 person = $82.46

2 person = $85.71

3 person = $88.96

4 peron = $92.21

5 + person = $95.46

If you are planning a project such as an addition to your home, siding, roofing, decking we ask that you call the clerk to receive a building permit before your project begins.  The permit needs to be brought forth to the council for approval before it gets sent to the County for processing.
