Bellechester City Council
February 10, 2016
Meeting was called to order by Mayor Keegan Quinn at 6:31 p.m.
Pledge to the flag.
Roll call was taken: The council in attendance: Mayor Keegan Quinn, Council people, Rich Majerus, Jason Nurnberg and Paul Reding as well as clerk Lisa Redepenning and Dan Howard. Absent was Treasurer Kyle McKeown and Councilmember Kim Gilsdorf.
Minutes of January, 2016 meeting were approved as written and a motion was made by Paul Reding with a second by Rich Majerus to approve the minutes. Motion carried.
Bills were reviewed and a motion by Rich Majerus with a second by Jason Nurnberg to approve and pay the bills as presented. Motion carried.
Old Business: None
2015 Year End Summary – Review and Discuss – A summary of 2015 was presented and reviewed.
Streets – Rich Majerus mentioned the streets are getting bad. He will contact both counties to seal coat to see if it will get us by for a few year. Will bring information to March meeting, if possible.
Clerk Report – Year end Processing – is completed – summary and complete report are included in packet.
Treasurer Report – shut off letters will be sent.
Water/Wastewater/Facility Report – Acid washing is done and Thein Well will be putting pump back in Thursday. Dan will sample and send in to get results and contact MDH before it can be put back online. Dan will try 100 feet deeper, hoping to get steadier pumping as a result. Thein Well invoice may be slightly less due to less hours needed on project.
Council Concerns: Defibrillator – Paul was asked about this. Rich indicated that the doors need to be swapped to accommodate the defibrillator in the entry to the bank.
Mayor Concerns: None
Motion was made by Jason Nurnberg with a second by Paul Reding to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried. Meeting was adjourned at 6:42 pm.

Board of Equalization Meeting – will be held Tuesday, April 12th from 5:00 – 5:30. The April monthly city council meeting will be moved to this date, following the Board of Equalization meeting @ 6:00.
Reminder – Street Parking Ordinance #27 is in effect – No Motor vehicle shall be left parked on any street(s) in the city from Nov. 1-April 1 for the hours of 2am until 6am with snow fall of more than 2”.
Recycling – Please recycle whenever you can. There is a recycling bin located on the north end of town by GB Feed and Supply. By recycling, this will keep our garbage rates from rising.
