Bellechester City Council
December 12th, 2018
Meeting was called to order by at 6:30 p.m.
Pledge to the flag.
Roll call was taken. The council in attendance: Mayor Keegan Quinn. Council members Jason Nurnberg, Doug Majerus, and Rich Majerus as well as Kyle McKeown and Sara Betcher, and Greg Ruehl. Mark Gerken was also present.
Minutes of November 2018 meeting were approved with motion was made Jason Nurnberg by with a second by Rich Majerus to approve the minutes as modified. Motion carried.
November bills were reviewed and a motion by Rich Majerus with a second by Jason Nurnberg to approve and pay the bills as presented. Motion carried.
Goodhue County joint powers for building permits. Motion made to approve joint powers made by Rich Majerus. Second by Jason Nurnberg. Motion carried.
2019 Budget. Motion made to approve 2019 City Budget made by Rich Majerus with a second by Jason Majerus. Motion Carried
2019 Final Levy. Motion made to approve 2019 tax levy made by Jason Nurnberg with a second by Rich Majerus. Motion Carried
Goodhue County Sheriff Policing Contract. Motion made to approve new policing contract made by Rich Majerus with a second by Doug Majerus. Motion Carried
New Clerk pays. Motion to pay the clerk $15.50 per hour made by rich Majerus with second by Doug Majerus.
Resolution to allow new clerk Sara Betcher and Mayor Greg Majerus to have access to all aspects of the city financial accounts.
New Clerk Sara Betcher is here to observe the meeting. Will be taking over 01/01/2019
Clerk training has not been completed yet. Will be scheduling a 2-3 (to include the January bill/payroll cycle) with Sara

Motion was made by Jason Majerus with a second by Rich Majerus to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried. Meeting was adjourned at 7:pm.

Notice Recycling – Please recycle whenever you can. There is a recycling bin located on the north end of town by GB Feed and Supply. By recycling, this will keep our garbage rates from rising.
